Appearance: A clean shaven, well muscled man with short hair. He has a fair countenance, smiles broadly, and dresses neatly.

Wearing: Always in the outfit of a town guard. When off duty he still wears his uniform.

Voice: strong and with a slight upper crust accent. He uses larger words than a town guard would usually be expected to know, and doesn't seem to realize he is doing it.

Quirks: will randomly stop in the middle of saying something and stare off into the distance for a bit - sometimes smiling disconcertingly.

Motives: He wants everyone to be happy, and wants justice to be done. On the other hand his family is politically powerful in the town/country/empire, and is a force for evil, so he is ashamed of them. He is currently in hiding from them.

Items of Note: he has an unusual birthmark on a hard to reach place in his body which shows who he is - if required he could prove that he is who he is, however, it would take the head of his family dying and him coming into his inheritance, or something equally surprising for that to happen.
